Yankees' Rodriguez doesn't need more surgery

<div><p>New York Yankees infielder Alex Rodriguez will not need to undergo additional operations for his surgically repaired hip, according to the Major League Baseball team.</p><p>Rodriguez, a career .305 hitter, missed the first two months of last season after having surgery in March.</p><p>He was expected to undergo a second operation but doctors said the hip is healing fine and he can begin training for the 2010 season.</p><p>Rodriguez finished with at least 30 home runs and 100 RBIs for the 12th consecutive season. New York had a league-best 90-44 record and won their 27th World Series.</p><p>Rodriguez has 583 homers and 1,706 RBIs over 16 seasons with Seattle, Texas and the Yankees.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=65635325&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
