GARDEN ON THE GO
Chicago officials have 'grown' a novel way of making commuters think green - by putting a mobile garden rail car on the tracks. The city's Transit System authorities like artist Joe Baldwin's concept of turning an old train part into a mobile green space. The garden will boast greenery and native species in the hope it will help commuters "visualise the possibilities for enhancing green space in the city." Unfortunately, rail users won't be able to take their shoots and socks off and lie in the grass - because safety issues mean no passenger will ever set foot in the garden, and it will only be watered and trimmed when stationary.
